last day of my 20s, heres the post game recap;
- •schooling is overrated, reading is non negotiable
- •say yes to everything, commit wholeheartedly and exit fast when its burdensome, this is your superpower
- •noise is extremely difficult to spot early on, optimize for prevention via structure, this compounds with time
- •the high cost of novelty defines the economics of scale, dig deep before going big or fragmenting your time
- •spontaneity is an attractive ideal, but structure and hard work are the sacrifices in which enable it
- •anger is fabricated as a means to achieving a goal, notice this right away and your emotional clarity will compound and project to your relationships
- •free markets aren't zero sum; a great move can create wealth that benefits everyone involved, and there is, like chess, always a better move
- •being wrong isn't bad, it's learning new information - seeing it any other way is living life through a constant power struggle in which you always lose
- •consumers vs. producers: pick whichever binary lens fits you, but choose one - and believe in it deep enough to make tough, long-term decisions fast and consistent
- •your 20s feel infinite, but my 29th year felt like sand slipping through my fingers in the most clarifying way possible, my 30s will be non-negotiable lock in
